I have been at Our Lady since 2015. Previously I worked at Holy Family Catholic High School with the titles of Mathematics teacher, department chair and learning specialist. I love using my deep understanding of high school to work with the teachers and students to ensure that we are preparing our students for their next step in education and life. I’m a firm believer in teaching every student where they are at in their education and celebrating everyone’s successes. This is just one reason why I love the Blended Learning model. My husband, Nathan, and I have three beautiful children, Kinley, Callen, and Kilian. I grew up in Deephaven and attended St. Therese School. I have completed all of my post high school work at University of St. Thomas. My undergraduate work was in Mathematics and Secondary Education, masters was in Special Education and my post masters is in Education Leadership.

I have been a parent and volunteer at OLL for 15 years. I have a BS in Marketing from Clemson University. I have 3 children-Madeline, a Freshman at St. Thomas University, Patrick a Junior at Holy Family Catholic and Betsy a Freshman at Holy Family. My husband, Jerry and I choose Catholic Education for our children because we wanted them to have a Christ based foundation in life. I am thrilled to work in an environment that teaches the whole child: mind, body and spirit.
I look forward to the exciting future of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School!

I have a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, Moorhead. I am licensed to teach grades 1-6. I started at OLL as a substitute teacher. I was also a part time teacher at OLL teaching first grade language arts and math and 3rd & 4th grade. I made the switch to the office in 2015. I love being in the office and getting to know all the families. I have three children--one is currently at OLL, one is at Holy Family and one at the University of North Dakota. I am so pleased with the faith based education that my kids have received at OLL. One of the things that I like about Catholic education is the strong tradition of faith based education. I am glad that I can work at a school that combines education with christian values.

I have been a teacher for 27 years, with 22 of those years at OLL. I have a BA in Elementary Education (Licensed for Preschool through 6th Grade), a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Art. I am currently the Kindergarten teacher at OLL. Kids are so eager to learn at this age and are constantly striving for more knowledge. This keeps our environment always revolving and adjusting to their many needs. I have taught in both public and parochial schools and have found my place here at OLL, where I can easily share the teachings of God in every aspect of the curriculum. By modeling the teachings of God, I can see the children evolve in their faith throughout their years here at OLL. I know how important this school is and I am honored to be a part of it!

I grew up in Duluth and graduated from UMD with a Bachelor's of Business Administration/Finance degree and Spanish minor. I worked for Anoka and Hennepin counties and the State of Minnesota Dept of Human Services prior to having kids. I have been married to John, who grew up in Mound, for 23 years. We are blessed to have four children: Anna, 19, Jack, 17, Adam, 12 and Julia, 11. I was a stay home mom for fifteen years. Two years ago I went back to school at St. Mary's University of Minnesota Twin Cities for a Master's of Arts in Teaching and K-6 teaching licensure.
My faith was ignited seventeen years ago through the loss of two family members in a car accident. I have learned that God is faithful and good, my rock and my salvation. I was confirmed in the Catholic church of my childhood in 2012 and have developed a passion for the Catholic faith. I love to serve in a faith community and have been teaching Sunday school, faith formation and at OLL for a total of sixteen years.
I am excited to teach second grade here at OLL!
Larissa Skoglund, 3rd & 4th Grade

I am excited to start my 3rd year as the 3rd and 4th grade teacher here at OLL. I graduated from Bemidji State University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary education and am licensed to teach K-6. I believe in creating an environment where students feel welcomed and are excited to learn each and every day. Seeing them grow in their knowledge, faith, and personally knowing I was part of guiding them in that direction makes my job as their teacher even more rewarding. In my free time outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog and soon to be baby. Anything outdoors is usually where you can find us, from fishing or hunting, to helping at my parents farm. I also don’t mind a nice summer night around a bonfire with family and friends.

Deborah Antoskiewicz, OLL+ Director & Preschool Assistant
firstname.lastname@example.org | 952.472.8244
I have been a member of the Our Lady of the Lake and Mound, Minnesota community since moving here in October of 2013. I'm married and have two daughters who attended both Catholic grade and high schools. In those years, I was heavily involved at their schools either as a volunteer or in an official capacity as a 1st grade teacher's aide or after school care program leader. Having moved several times over the years, I've experienced a number of different schools and styles. I try to incorporate the best of what I have seen and learned during those years in addition to a strong Christian attitude and sense of community to create a program that makes it easy for your child to have fun, socialize and learn.

Kathy Cleveland, Preschool Aide
firstname.lastname@example.org | 952.472.8241
Hi my name is Kathy Cleveland. I am working in the pre-school with Mrs. Youngstrom. Before coming to OLL, I worked at St. John the Baptist in Excelsior for five years. Prior to that, I worked for Minnetonka Early Childhood Family Education for fifteen years. I love being around kids because they help me stay young at heart. I have been happily married to my husband John for 41 years. We have three married children and 9 grandchildren with one more on the way. Our oldest grandchild is 6 years old and attends OLL with her little brother. All of our grandchildren live very close to me, which is a great blessing. I love to go on long walks and long bike rides with my husband. I also enjoy cross country skiing and skating. What makes me really happy is spending time with my grandchildren.
I love working with OLL’s youngest students because I love sharing my Catholic faith with young people. What a beautiful faith we have; to be able to go to mass and receive Christ in the Eucharist. What a beautiful gift it is to know in my heart that no matter what happens, Christ is right at my side with all the graces to get through whatever I am facing.
Tori Sweeney, Choir Teacher
email@example.com | 952.472.8273
I am very excited to be joining the OLL community for this upcoming 2019-2020 school year as the middle school choir teacher! I began my undergraduate career at the University of California at Berkeley, earning a music degree in Vocal Jazz Performance and Music Composition. Following, I was accepted into New York University where I received my Masters of Music. Outside of teaching choir at OLL, you will find me teaching vocal, piano, guitar, and violin performance, music theory, songwriting and composition, and conducting and directing Youth in Harmony down in Chaska. When I am not teaching and training the next generation of maestri, I work as a music composer, writing sacred and secular choral music. As a music teacher, I truly believe that everyone can sing and learn to play music! I look forward to helping the students engage and practice the Catholic faith in new and exciting ways with music!
Dawn Hebig, Art, Title 1
firstname.lastname@example.org | 952.472.8253
I’ve been teaching at Our Lady of the Lake since 1999 when my children were young students here. I started out working as a resource teacher and in 2003 accepted the art teacher position. It has been a wonderful opportunity that has allowed me to combine my faith, love of art, and passion for education. Arts education is essential to children's development and I love nurturing students’s creativity and guiding them in exploring ways of expressing themselves. As Title I teacher, I work with students to improve their essential reading and math skills in one-on-one or small group settings where each student's unique learning style and abilities are recognized and valued. I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this wonderful, faith-filled school.
Jennifer Cleveland, Spanish
email@example.com | 952.472.8257
I am Jenny Cleveland, the Spanish teacher at OLL. I cannot wait to begin my second year teaching here. My two children attend school at Our Lady of the Lake. My family and I feel so blessed to be apart of this community. The emphasis of developing the whole child, mind, body and spirit is not something you can find anywhere.
I graduated from the College of St. Benedict in 2007 and received a BA in Elementary education. My first teaching job was as an English teacher in Guatemala. This is where I discovered my true joy for language teaching. Being able to communicate cross culturally is a gift and something I want to share with my students.
I believe that learning a language should be active, purposeful, and fun. We have an exciting year ahead with engaging lessons planned to strengthen your child’s Spanish Language skills through different subject matter. We will be singing, dancing, reading, cooking, and SPEAKING!! Please feel free to call, email or stop by with any questions.
